There are thousands of MLM and network marketing companies out there today, so it’s getting more and more difficult for people to figure out which ones are the best. Then of course, there are personal recommendations from distributors, too, especially those who have made a great deal of money with a particular company. Of course they’ll highly recommend it if that’s the case, right?
With this in mind, I wanted to give you a set of two lists that are originally from web sites specifically geared toward analyzing the best MLM companies around right now. These companies have been analyzed, have a proven track record, and have all been in business for a while. If they made either one of these lists, chances are that their leadership team is also excellent and experienced.
I don’t know if you’re new to the industry or if you’re looking for a new company – or neither, for that matter – but these two lists should help you to make an informed decision and gain knowledge on which companies have the best history, leadership, value, and more.
For your convenience, I’m including the source for each of these lists, too, because then you can do further research if you want to on a specific company or on the site that has these stats published. Knowledge is power, right?
Our first list comes from MLM Rankings.
(For more details on each of these companies according to the MLM Rankings web site, just click on the name of the company. These links have been added for your convenience.)
9. Melaleuca
8. Thirty-One
7. Herbalife
6. Tupperware
5. Amway
4. Mary Kay
3. Scentsy
1. Avon
These rankings are based on public interest. It’s important to note that some of these companies have pretty interesting terms and conditions for their distributors, so public interest is very much dependent on marketing and exposure.
This list also includes direct sales companies. With some of these, distributors actually receive and deliver product to their customers, such as Avon, which makes them a little less convenient than the ones who ship directly to consumers. This may also be optional.
Take note that the MLM Rankings web site also updates its information every month, so as soon as new information is available, this list could potentially change.
Next up, we have the top 10 companies from NeXera.
(For more details on each of these companies according to their corporate web sites, just click on the name of the company. These links have been added for your convenience.)
Please note that the site itself has a list of the top 25 MLM companies, so you’re getting a much more in-depth list from them than from the first list. For our purposes, though, we’re going to stick to 10
.
10. 4Life
9. Xango
8. Herbalife
6. Isagenix
5. ACN
4. USANA
3. Melaleuca
2. Nu Skin
1. Amway
According to the NeXera web site listing: “To make a fair assessment we gave consideration to things that really don’t matter; for instance, 24 of the 25 companies are members of the DSA. And to things that really do matter; like Time In Business!”
Aside from this, there were 5 major factors that NeXera took into consideration when deciding on their list of the best MLM companies out there:
1) The company must be a self-described Network Marketing, Multi Level, or MLM company.
2) The company must be in business for at least 10 years as of December 31, 2012.
3) The company must have a Google Page Rank - GPR. A scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being best.
4) The company must have an Alexa Rank - AR. Here the smaller the number the better.
5) The company must show up in Google Trends - GT. All Regions. Last 12 months.
What does all of this mean? It means I saved the best list for last, baby! This one is definitely more comprehensive, more researched, and more valuable in its detailed presentation. To see the full list or learn more about what the requirements were and why, head over to the NeXera web site.
Now that you have a better idea about what the best MLM companies are, I hope your decision to start or change businesses can be made a little more easily. There’s an ocean of opportunities out there, but not every one is right for everybody. That’s where doing a little more research comes in handy!
I hope you find this information very valuable. Feel free to browse around my site for more information, free training, and little nuggets of wisdom about the industry and what it can do for people and the quality of their lives.
