Daegan Smith is a great online marketing leader, who has found his passion in teaching network marketers how to generate leads online without having to pick-up the phone. Although I slightly disagree… I believe – and have personally witnessed – that if you want a stable, long-term residual income you must interact with prospects on a very personal level (the phone).

Daegan began his journey a few years ago, and quickly became an internet sensation with a company called Success University that was recently sold to World Ventures. He was one of the top recruiters and money-earners within that company, and he did it all by leveraging the power of technology.

He has released several great courses. One of my favorites is Maximum Leverage, where he pretty much takes you behind the scenes of his online marketing business, teaching you exactly what he does and how he does it.

I found this course to be very valuable. It has helped me generate more leads for my specific network marketing company, and I must thank Daegan Smith for the value he has provided throughout the last few years.

One of my favorite teachings that Daegan really emphasizes is your ability to create direct response campaigns that immediately create a return on investment, allowing you to backend people into your primary network marketing organization.

Although this does take SKILL and a tremendous amount of focus and consistency, there is no doubt that it works; I’m also living proof that anyone can do it.

Of course, different people master different ways of building their business, so what works for one might not work for another. There are 3 core principles that stay consistent. If you master these 3 core principles, you’ll be well on your way to building a prosperous network marketing business.

The three core principles that every network marketer should remember for MLM Success:

  1. Generating leads. You need to learn how to generate a consistent number of leads on a daily basis to grow your business. The more leads you generate, the more people are likely to join your organization.
  2. Communication. What you say and how you say it is extremely important in building a rapport with your prospects. Learning how to speak with people to maintain their interest and keep them engaged is an important aspect to growing your company.
  3. Follow-up. Following up is the finalization of your money-making activities. Without follow-up, there’s a good chance you won’t make very much money. Keep in mind that network marketing isn’t a selling business; it’s a relationship business, and the better you get at mastering these skills, the more stable your residual income will be.

Daegan Smith is all about paid advertising. You will rarely find his content throughout the search engines, primarily because he has found that his funnel converts better with paid marketing and he’s able to leverage money into advertising that creates a profit for him.

This does not happen to all of us, though. Many of us, including myself, have found that building search engine rankings has a very long-term passive return on our time investment without having to risk thousands of dollars in testing and scaling.

Hi Matias,

Totally agree that there’s no one-size-fits all strategy in lead generation. We should constantly look for the strategy that really works for us. It may take a while, but when we are able to find the tool that’s really right for us and then start to do it consistently, we will be able to generate tons of leads for our business.
