I’m a believer in understanding the principles and fundamentals that make a network marketing opportunity profitable, exciting, and lifelong. The last thing you want to do is get involved with a business from home and struggle for years, face heartbreaks, and never truly achieve your dreams. Throughout the internet, you will find a tremendous amount of useless information written by individuals who have never succeeded in network marketing but are very good at writing and pretending to be networkers so they can sell you courses, eBooks, systems, bells, pans, pots, and subsequently leading you to complete misery and failure.

 

MLM Business Opportunity

I was sucked down this road when I came online seeking a solution to my biggest obstacle, which was not having enough people to share my opportunity with. Maybe you are in the same boat. I started to read blogs and articles and watch videos about these crazy push-button systems that “automatically” put people in my downline “while I’m sleeping,” and I quickly realized that what  I was being sold was NOT network marketing. Instead I was being converted into a computer affiliate slave that had no residual income, no downline, and pennies to show for all my work.

I sought out different information and I was fortune enough to come across an individual who took me under his wing and began to teach me the 3 basic fundamentals that completely changed my career in network marketing.

These 3 fundamentals MUST become habitual. Everything you do to build your MLM business must follow these fundamentals or else you will fail, end of story!

  1. How You Generate Leads
    Leads are the lifeblood to your business, it’s what water is to life: without it, life cannot be sustained. Your business needs leads in order to have even a chance at success, so learning how to generate leads is a vital aspect to building your MLM business. In order to control the amount of people you expose your business to, you must be able to generate your own leads offline and online. There are marketing principles you can learn and develop, and resources you can use that will always keep your pipeline full of prospects eager to learn more about your business. The more leads you can generate on your own, the higher success you create, and the quicker you advance through your company rankings, achievement  bonuses, car bonuses, trips, awards, etc.The top producers in this industry have mastered the art of lead generation. That is why they are top earners: they figured out that, in order to reach the top of this industry, you need to have 15-30 people per day to expose your business to. For many us, our warm market list will only producer about 100 contacts or less, and from there we will find 4-5 people that join, but as many of us have experienced, it takes way more than just 4-5 people to truly build a sustainable business.
  2. What You Say / How You Say It
    Communication is a huge barrier that is underrated and under-developed by failing networkers. Your ability to communicate with the leads you generate and the people you meet directly reflects how well you do in the world of Free Enterprise. Many of us, including myself, FEAR talking to others about a product and business opportunity, and really the only reason I FEARED it was because I didn’t know what to say and how to say it.Once I developed the necessary skills of communication, asking questions, posture, and business language, I soon began to experience success with the same quality of lead. It’s interesting, but as you become better at communicating, the leads you generate get better.
  3. How You Follow-up and Close Business
    I learned from one of my mentors that the fortune is in the follow-up. Not everyone will join your business the minute you present it! It takes the right timing in someone’s life for them to take action and you will experience this as you progress. Keeping in touch with prospects by simply giving them a call every few months, sending a postcard or even a video email can establish a relationship that soon becomes a business partnership; I see this happening all the time. I have had people join my business 2 years after I presented network marketing to them; timing was not right THEN, but NOW it is.

Living by these 3 fundamentals and building your business around them will completely change the outcome of your current situation and your future.

There are no secrets in this industry. It’s a matter of understanding the principles and fundamentals that make it move in a profitable manner. This is not found anywhere online because most have never experienced it like I have.
