Although, I have never really seen a 7-figure earner teach MLM lead generation like the mentor I had early on in my career. I was just like you: I was taken to a hotel conference room and was presented with the opportunity to create income from the comfort of my home in an industry that I had no clue existed.

I did everything I was told to do: make a list of friends and family, contact everyone, and from there people will join and my organization will flourish. Obviously, that didn’t work for me. And the real reason it didn’t work for me was because my skills at the time were not up to par; I still had to develop my sales and presenting skills in order to create substantial profits.

I’m not saying that traditional network marketers don’t know what they are training or doing, but I was put in a situation where most could not help because they had never developed the skills of MLM lead generation. They knew how to work in warm markets, but in order for me to get into warm markets after abusing my own, I had to develop the necessary skills that generate leads offline and online.

I understood that the business was completely based on numbers and the amount of exposures you did on a per day basis lead to the fortune, but I had no one else in my warm market to connect with at the time, so here is the formula I used for MLM lead generation:

1. Internet Marketing
I began to learn how to use social networks, article sites, and video sites that allowed me to post valuable information targeting the network marketing online audience. This audience consists of networkers who are in a company seeking a solution to the biggest obstacle we all face: lead poverty. Then there are individuals who are searching for an opportunity to create income from home.

The message you use online to attract individuals to your websites directly reflects the type of person you will connect with. If you are using hyped up sales pages that talk about never picking up the phone, and simply pushing a button to build your organization, the type of person that responds is someone who is lazy and non-willing to develop the necessary skills for success.

2. Webinars
As I began to build a list of potential business partners by giving away my FREE 7-Day bootcamp where I shared my techniques, I then started inviting people to powerful training webinars where I explained and outlined the entire network marketing model with the usage of internet marketing.

MLM Leads

The majority of individuals online who are training do not understand the network marketing model, all they know is “internet marketing” which is really just a small piece to the entire puzzle. Internet Marketing is not Network Marketing! We use the internet to meet people, but on our webinars we teach that the offline world is still the most dominant and effective way to build immediate network marketing income.

Once you have built your offline income to $1,000 monthly, you can then begin to implement some of the internet marketing techniques that will allow you to grow your business by meeting thousands of high-quality prospects online. Don’t forget that you need to bridge these new prospects into the offline functions if you desire a stable, long-term residual income.

3. Phone Work
This makes the entire machine profitable, without you picking up the phone and connecting with your new leads, you will never build a downline or a profitable business. This is a huge obstacle, especially for those who come through internet searches because all you read is about automated, overnight success systems that don’t require you to pick up the phone.

If you ask any successful online network marketer or traditional networker, they spend the majority of their time on the phone connecting with prospects. Network Marketing is a people business! Hiding behind your computer and never talking to anyone doesn’t work.
