Multi-level marketing, also known as “MLM” and “Network Marketing,” has become the underground industry that creates fortunes in regular, everyday people like you and I.You’ve landed on my website seeking further information about multi-level marketing and what this industry is really about. I want to first start off by congratulating you in becoming an entrepreneur, someone who is seeking change in their financial and personal life.

How to Become A Multi-Level Marketing Millionaire by Following Three Basic Activities!

Throughout high school and college, nobody taught us that profits are better than wages, nobody explained the difference between working for someone and working for ourselves. It’s a bit irritating to go back and see how society is shaped and moved through a system that continues to produce poverty, debt, and unhappiness.

I’m glad you are with me here today, because I want to share with you my personal experience being involved with multi-level marketing companies. I was introduced to the industry back in 2006; a friend from my senior year English class invited me to a presentation at the local Marriot. All he said was the gentleman that will be presenting is driving a yellow Lamborghini and he is 30 years old. I had no clue what I was getting myself into, but I had ambition and a desire to succeed.

I was blown away when I was first introduced to multi-level marketing! I had no clue this industry even existed. Throughout high school, all I would think about was finding a job that would pay $50,000 a year. Then I was exposed to the opportunity to create income from the comfort of my home through the leverage of thousands of people.

I understood basic wealth principles and the two different ways you can achieve wealth in this world:

1. You leverage money (Which I didn’t have)

2. You leverage the efforts of others (This got me excited)

I was very excited at first. I saw the money, I saw the vision, and I was willing to do whatever it took to make it to the top because the real money in network marketing is in the development of a successful organization of distributors.

Why is This Industry Looked upon So Negatively?

Network Marketing has been around since the early days of Jesus Christ. Back then, the only way a message would move is through word of mouth; there was no such thing as technology, text messaging, e-mail, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Everything moved through people sharing with each other a specific experience, product, and thought.

Today’s society has been so brainwashed that, when it comes to stepping out of their comfort zone and actually going out and building a legacy for the rest of their life, people get scared. They don’t know how to react and are very skeptical because the system for the past 100+ years has been to go work for someone else, save money, buy a house, start a family, and hopefully find retirement through stocks and pensions. As you and I both know, this no longer exists. The system has changed and if you desire a comfortable lifestyle for the next 40-60 years, you’re going to need to develop your own income.

There have been a few occasions where network marketing companies have collapsed, leaving distributors out to dry. There have also been instances where specific distributors got involved in doing shady business to create profits. These types of scenarios have caused many people to look down at network marketing only because they are uneducated and were unfortunate. This rarely ever happens due to FTC regulations.

I have met multi-millionaires (and even a few billionaires) who came from complete poverty and now live a life of freedom and wealth because of multi-level marketing.

So why is it that some succeed and most don’t?

It’s very simple. Those who succeed are willing to develop the necessary skills that create success. Success is not to be pursued, success is attracted by the person you become by doing certain activities every single day. The difference between someone who makes $8.00/hour and $500/hour is the skillset they possess.

The person making $500/hour is more valuable to society than the $8.00/hour individual. The same goes for network marketing: those who make the most have become more valuable to society by developing the necessary skills. While others sit and dream about having a successful organization, they don’t take the necessary action steps that lead to success and fortune.

Here are the three basic fundamentals you must develop if you WISH to become prosperous in Multi-Level Marketing:

  1. Your Ability to Generate Leads
    Without leads and a consistent flow of new people to expose your business to, you will fizzle out. The most successful networkers have mastered the art of lead generation. Whether it’s online leads or offline leads they generate, they are consistent and always in front of people.
  2. What You Say and how you Say It
    Communication is 90% of success. Without being able to communicate, you will never make a dime in the world of free enterprise. Sorry – I’m not here to sugar coat your success and feed you magical pills, I’m giving you the real information that creates real, quantifiable results.Oftentimes we get very excited, make our list of friends and family, and completely vomit on them all the information. There is a process to exposing your business opportunity; there are certain things you say and DON’T say when connecting with prospects, reason being is because the secret to getting others involved is your ability to ask questions and listen to what is being said behind the words, not the actual words.
  3. How You Follow-Up
    The fortune is in the follow-up. Re-connecting with previous prospects establishes a profound relationship that often leads to a successful business partnership. Not everyone buys when first exposed to multi-level marketing. Many will never buy and many will take months to finally make a decision. It’s your duty as a business owner to always keep relationships close and always follow-up with people. This economy and society is continuously changing; today you have a job and tomorrow you are kicked to the curb, what do you do?

If you are involved with multi-level marketing, just keep developing the necessary skills. If you are new and researching the industry, then follow the 3 basic fundamentals I have outlined above. Remember the difference between where you are today and where you want to be lies in your habits and the skills you develop.

Anyone can develop the skills of success. The greatest reward is not what you get… it’s who you become through the process of developing new skills and habits.
